One of my favorite games and my favorite character from said game. I recommend playing it if you haven't.

   

Our site has been updated, here are a few notes of what the changes are...

* We are currently hosting a Trick contest on one of our threads, find the thread and post the scariest image you can find (safe for work) to win the contest and be awarded site badges / items / virtual pets. If you have a spooky avatar during the event you will also earn a unique item. The contest itself is on the "Companion Party" board.

* Crescent Quest 1.2 along with the in-game Halloween event is now available, you can download it from our site. You can also view the update notes from the download page. I will be releasing updates for this version of the game if I catch any errors.

* The Halloween event on our game servers (TF2, MC) are active.

Further updates...

* Improved site / account / profile security. Minimum and maximum password length is increased as well as the need to insert more complex passwords when creating an account. Failing to login three times will result in a captcha. More internal security has been added which I will not state the specifics of.

* Usernames must now have a minimum of three characters.
* Number of images allowed per post has been increased to 40.
* Changed the default "no avatar" site avatar.
* Gif avatars are now usable.
* Added more security questions upon sign up.

I have also changed the layout of users posts, the profile area is now on the right side of the screen right next to the users post itself.

It is my favorite time of the year. There is an eerie mist appearing around the town of New Cressora, sightings of folk dressed in haunted outfits, some with pumpkins over their heads, a faint glow from the top of the hill can be seen... and sometimes, just sometimes, a cold wind opens a path to the valley above Lusnayin City. Take a boat ride from Cressora Town to New Cressora and see the festivities, the orange glows, the Autumn leaves.



You may even earn Halloween packages which can be turned in for event only items such as pumpkins, different colors of candy, watch hat, pumpkin cape, or even a haunted whip. There are four Halloween event quests, all event quests give one Renown each.

* Mage Tower has been added east of the ruins which contains new equipment for mages if you are able to afford it.

* Added Jester Hats, Cosmic Cape, Cosmic Wand, Gemstone Hat, Gemstone Robe, and Gemstone Boots to the Mage Tower.

* Added the Obscure Longsword. Mysterious...

* Updated Halloween New Cressora textures, characters, foes, made trees no longer choppable on New Cressora.

* Someone new has moved into Malatirgus Town.

* Added new status effects along with cures.

* Updated certain weapon abilities.

* Added bridge above Malatirgus Town, below the ruins. It had to be built before, now it is already there.

* Fixed Patrevane Forest scenery.

* Fixed Keedbalt Factory quest.

* Sap is now obtainable.

* Added new moves to arachnid foes, more moves for every foe to come.

* Added a chance for something to occur when entering a new area.

* Fixed Gemstone armor. It was the incorrect equipment type.
* Fixed walls being able to be walked on in the Abyss.

* Added new health recovery items and new brews / potions.
* Updated the Abyssal language books, Abyss residents, and added a new area to the Abyss.
* Added new Abyssal weapons.
* Added halberds.
* Added more environmental detail.
* Updated staves to deal more Energy damage.

* Added a new challenge within the Abyss, the Abyssal Cirque. Light the way through many rooms within the Abyss filled with many adversaries until you reach the end where a mist veiled being of the Abyss awaits any adventurer brave enough to enter it's domain.

* Added new titles for each major boss should you defeat them 100 times. (Servaterior King, Old Spitehound, and the new
one within the Abyss.)

Lumbering - The skill of cutting trees.


Trawling - The skill of catching fish.


Swifting - The skill of navigating obstacles.


Quarrying - The skill of mining ores.


Purifying - The skill of restoring objects and warding off bad spirits.


Cooking - The skill of crafting food and burning wood.


Repairing - The skill of creating equipment from fragments and repairing gear.


Smithing - The skill of creating weapons and armor.


Trapping - The skill of catching creatures.


Gardening - The skill of growing plants.


Sailing - The skill of crossing the seas.


Piety - The skill of holy spiritual deeds, such as healing others. Gives access to monk / holy equipment.


Slaying - The skill of defeating unique foes who cannot be defeated normally.


Magic - The skill of using Chyfrinx Energy, used in all forms of spells.


Strength - The skill of your power, allows the use of certain, more unique melee weapons.

I would rather not include anymore information on skills, it would be preferable if the community of the game does it instead. It may take away from the intrigue and mystery of the game. I have not included all logs, ores, and fish for the first three skills for this reason. You may also be wondering why the experience required is incredibly low to obtain certain items, there will be more resources, items, armor, weapons, foes, and more that will require hundreds of hours of grinding to achieve in regards to skills. You will need well over one million experience for some of them.
