Hello, Crescent Knights! Crescent Quest is now free to play on the platforms / services it has been released on, as explained in a prior post, the price increase to the game was due to a personal issue I was experiencing in my life, for those who have purchased Crescent Quest before this point I would like to make things right by adding what you want into the game whether it be a tribute, self insert, a name in the credits, a content idea or something else. You can write a request on our forums or message me personally.


I want to let those of you who have supported this game know that you helped me and those close to me greatly, there's no amount of thanks that I can give for what you all have done for me so I would like to act on your ideas for Crescent Quest. I will be adding what you desire in a lore friendly way should what you want be in the world of Reltionus itself.


Here are the update notes for Crescent Quest 1.8.1.


* Added the Patriotic Event, for a limited time you can obtain the Patriotic Cape from the event portal in Cressora Town, this cape will be discontinued after the event is over! If you all would like this cape as a cosmetic to be worn on your character then let me know and I will make it into a Cilvisage Emblem.


This cape is part of the genuine item program so you can ask for it on the forums of our site and I'll apply it to your profile. (PS, I really like the design for the cape I made, I know it's just a copy paste of the Eclipse Cape but still.)

* Fixed a few graphical issues around Myrevane.
* Fixed an issue with melee animations not playing with certain weapons.
* Fixed the outdated sprite of the Ivory Fruit.
* Added Weremyres to the game. Halloween related equipment has a slight effect on them.
* Added another source for the Aged Angelic Rock.
* Added more scenery around the world and other realms.
* Added a Fire Kit and Eternal Fire Kit to shops. These are inaccessible in Henodran Mode.
* Added more cooking fires around Keedbalt.
* Updated New Lusnayin to include more information about the game.

There will be many more updates to come that will add more content to the game such as new super bosses, auras, gear and more. Oh yeah, be careful in the Bloodrite Hotel around Halloween, I heard it gets pretty crazy in there around that time.

* The Halloween event is now active. You can obtain the new Haunted Witch Hat for a limited time until the event is over from the Cressora Town event portal, this one won't be returning just like the other discontinued event items!

* Updated the designs of certain items such as the Dreaumaren Staff and Lygrant's Staff.

* Updated specific item descriptions and effects.

* Updated the look of common lightling trees.

* Fixed more quest oversights, this is the fifth time I'm fixing the Crescent Mansion quest, let's hope it stays fixed this time.

* Fixed a door in the Malatirgus Tunnels as well as a roof in southern Keedbalt.

* Removed a quest character from Lusnayin City, he will be added back at a later date.

* Added the Aged Angelic Rock. This can be used to give a healing effect to certain rings.

       

It's like the newsletter was made for me. Those unused Power of Neo tracks are awesome also, I enjoyed seeing fan made versions of geno Mettaton back in the day when the game released, brought back some memories for me and my friends.

You / we can create are / your own game related events here, these events consist of us coming together and experiencing games both new and old that we have no information on and know next to nothing about. It's an escape from the wider internet where everything is datamined in under a day. We can have our own sense of discovery here. Make a post and let's play something together.

There is a rule specifically for this board, you must not spoil anything you've read about online outside of this place when an event is taking place, you must have found what you are talking about on your own or by others here in our community who also follow the same rule.

* Added the "Workers in Peril" quest, help a factory worker who is trapped below the Cilganian Company by taking the key he gives you and uncover an endless corruption which pours from within the cold and stagnant walls of a company within the Amserith Kingdom which was recently taken over by new, modern hires. The higher ups of the company seem to be halting the freedom of their workers and consumers, they can't even use their freedom of speech anymore! It's stated by locals around the Amserith Kingdom that the company recently started cooperating with another business who tells the Cilganian Company how to increase their profits by diversifying their stock of the now faulty items, alienating the consumer base! Will you investigate this corruption, Crescent Knights?


* Added the "B'han Hammer", "Soyployee Staff", and "Spineless Dagger" equipment. The B'han Hammer used by the powerless employees at the Cilganian Company only works on weaker foes who are more likely of having the "scared" effect, it has no effect on foes with the non-caring or holy status. You can obtain these items from within the corrupt company if you have enough negative points from getting rid of propaganda around the company.


* Added the "Hurt Feefees" throwable item. When used it has a chance to make certain emotional, manipulable foes cry.

* Extended the length of the Crescent Dash ability / spell, you will travel further depending on your Swifting experience.

* Added "Swifting Boots", when worn these will increase the length of the Crescent Dash ability / spell.
* Increased the Renown requirement for the boot chest.
* Updated the Cressora Castle basement.
* Early game spells require less Energy to use.
